How do I limit the number of participants in a class?
Each session in the timetable has a fixed capacity tied to the real number of bikes, mats or stations. Bookings stop automatically once the last spot is taken, and members see in real time how many are left.
What happens when a member cancels at the last minute?
The freed spot goes automatically to the first member on the waiting list, who gets a notification on their phone and confirms. That is how seats cancelled a few hours before a class get refilled.
Can I set a cancellation deadline?
Yes. You set the deadline (four hours before the class, for example): until then cancelling is free, after that the session counts as used or the agreed penalty applies. The rule is enforced automatically and identically for every member.
Can a member book if their membership has expired?
No. At booking time the system checks whether the membership is valid on the class date and whether that type allows the time slot — an Off-peak membership cannot book a 7 pm class.
How do I know which classes are worth keeping in the timetable?
Occupancy reports show, over several weeks, how many spots were booked and how many members actually came to each class, trainer and time slot. That tells you what to double up at peak time and what to move to the morning.
Can the trainer mark attendance in class?
Yes. They check members in from a tablet or phone at the start of the session, and you compare the booking list with real attendance to measure no-shows accurately.
Can I stop a member from blocking spots in several classes?
Yes. You set a cap on simultaneous active bookings per member (three, for example), so nobody holds backup spots in classes they will not attend.
